libapache2-authenntlm-perl software package provides module for Microsoft NTLM and Basic User Authentication, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-authenntlm-perl
libapache2-authenntlm-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-authenntlm-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-authenntlm-perl *
You will get with libapache2-authenntlm-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
